Humble Acres Chinchillas

· A $50 or 50% (USD) non-refundable deposit is required to hold any kit until it is allowed to leave Humble Acres.

· Full payment and pick-up/transportation arrangements must be made by the kit's 12th week or it will be returned to sale.

· Full payment is required on any chinchilla over 12 weeks of age before it will be considered "held" or "sold."

· Humble Acres reserves the right to cancel a sale at any time.

· Chinchillas are sold on a first-come, first-serve basis to approved homes only.

· Chinchillas sold as PET ONLY will not recieve a pedigree in their care packet.

· Humble Acres asks that any chinchilla purchased from them be returned to them in the event that said chinchilla can no longer be kept or cared for.

· Humble Acres promises that any chinchilla purchased from them is healthy. In the event that any Humble Acres Chinchilla falls ill within 30 days of purchase, or suffers from a genetic default such as maloclussion within the first 2 years of life, Humble Acres will refund the buyer their full purchase price or use it towards the purchase of another chinchilla, provided a necropsy proves the illness was contracted while at Humble Acres or was genetic in nature and not caused by owner negligence or improper care. (This does not extend to rescue chinchillas. Please see rescues page for more information about adopting a rescue.)

· Chinchillas who must be held at Humble Acres for a period of time after their sale and prior to their pick up will be boarded at no cost for the first month following weaning/full purchase and $10/month for each month thereafter.
